Statement of Faith
We Believe……
…..that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died on the cross for our sins and that he rose from the dead. (St. John 3:16-17) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

…..that God is love and we must love one another and that we should not hate our brothers and sisters in Christ no matter what. (Leviticus 19:18) Thou shalt not revenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the Lord. (Matthew 5:44) But I say unto you, Love your enemies. Bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

…..telling the truth to the lost and setting the captives free. (St. John 8:32) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth will make you free.

…..that it is important to get souls saved, delivered and set free from sin no matter who they are. (Luke 4:18-19) The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of the sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

…..that we should present our body as a living sacrifice unto the Lord at all times. (Romans 12:1-2) I BESEECH you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is a reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

… living holy, walking holy and talking holy and teaching true holiness. (I Corinthians 7:1) HAVING THEREFORE these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all

filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (Ephesians 4:24) And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created righteousness and true holiness.

… a unified church and as well as a church family, if the church can pray together as well as fast together and come together as a whole then the church will stand. (Psalms 55:17) Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice. (I Thessalonians 5:17) Pray without ceasing. (Ephesians 4:3) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
…..that there is one Lord, one faith and one baptism. (Ephesians 4:5-6) One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

… living by the word of God in sound doctrine and being obedient to all leadership. (II Timothy 3:16-17) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. (Acts 2:42) And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

…..that God can do anything if you only believe. (Hebrews 11:6) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (James 1:3) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (Hebrews 11:1) NOW FAITH is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

…..that all things work together for the good to them that love God. We believe that your gifts will make room for you. We believe in building up one another spiritually and naturally. (Philippians 4:13) I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

… the remission of our sins and that we must repent in. (Romans 10:9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
